Biography
Ian Giffen serves as an Advisor and/or Corporate Director to technology companies and investment funds. Ian is currently a Director of Absolute Software Inc. (ABT.TSX), Kinaxis Inc. (KXS.TSX) and a number of private companies and serves on the Advisory Board of OMERS Ventures. Ian is a Chartered Accountant and has a Designation in Corporate Finance. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow and worked with KPMG in Glasgow from 1978 – 1982. He has a keen interest in supporting organizations that enable people to overcome disadvantages to achieve independence and financial stability, and has served with a number of charitable organizations.
