Jean-robert Laporte

Biography

President of the Lanaudière Regional Council Mr. Laporte, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Caisse Desjardins de Joliette, is a lawyer. He is secretary of the boards of the Fédération des caisses Desjardins du Québec, Capital Desjardins and Desjardins Trust, and is a member of the executive committee of these entities. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Desjardins Financial Corporation, Desjardins Financial Holding, Desjardins FSB Holdings, Fondation Desjardins and Société historique Alphonse-Desjardins. He is also a member of the Federation's Human Resources Commission and the Compensation Committee of the President and Chief Executive Officer of Desjardins Group. He is Chairman of the Board of Desjardins Financial Security, a member of its executive committee and its investment committee.
