Biography
President of the Québec-Est Regional Council Mr. Simard, Chair of the Board of Directors of Caisse Desjardins Côte-de-Beaupré, is retired from the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Solidarity. He sits on the boards of the Fédération des caisses Desjardins du Québec, Capital Desjardins and Fiducie Desjardins. He is a member of the Cooperative Life and Network Liaison Commission, the Federation Risk Management Commission and the Desjardins Trust Risk Management Committee and the US Risk Management Committee . He is also a representative of the Mouvement's Board of Directors on the Board of Directors of the Conseil québécois de la coopération et la mutualité.
