Biography
James Toups, 45, joined Devon as vice president of tax in March 2015. Toups previously worked for Apache Corp., Deloitte and Arthur Andersen. He received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Texas A&M University. His master’s degree includes a tax specialization. Toups is a board member of the Oklahoma City chapter of Texas Executives Inc. He also is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Exploration and Production Council (Tax Division). .
