Biography
Dave Hager, 60, was elected by the board of directors to the position of president and chief executive officer, effective Aug. 1, 2015. Shareholders elected him to the board of directors in June 2016. Hager previously served on the board from 2007 until 2009, when he joined the company as executive vice president of exploration and production. Subsequently, Hager served as chief operating officer before taking his current positions. From 1999 to 2006, Hager was employed by Kerr-McGee Corp., serving in various capacities, most recently as chief operating officer. Hager has a bachelor's degree in geophysics from Purdue University and a master's degree in business administration from Southern Methodist University. He was elected in November 2015 to the American Petroleum Institute board of directors. He also serves on the boards of directors of the American Exploration & Production Council, EnLink Midstream Partners, LP, and EnLink Midstream, LLC.
