Biography
The inventor of the Java programming language and has over 43 years of experience in the technology industry, including as Chief Software Architect at Liquid Robotics, Inc., a developer of the award-winning Wave Glider and cloud-based data service provider; and Vice President and Sun Fellow of Sun Microsystems Inc., a developer of innovative network computing technologies. James holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Calgary and a Doctorate degree from Carnegie-Mellon University. James is a member of the Order of Canada.
