Biography
Mr. Nicholas G. Nomicos, also known as Laki, serves as Managing Director at Sankaty Advisors, LLC, the credit arm of Bain Capital and heads its Portfolio Group. Prior to joining Sankaty Advisors, LLC in 2011, Mr. Nomicos was an Operating Partner at Bain Capital Partners, LLC, where he worked since 1999 in a variety of investments in the manufacturing and consumer product sectors. He served as Secretary, Senior Vice President and Interim Chief Financial Officer of Dollarama Group GP Inc. since September 10, 2009. He served as Interim Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and Senior Vice President of Dollarama Group Holdings GP ULC from September 10, 2009 to April 12, 2010. He served as Executive Vice President at Bain Capital and joined it in 1999. He served as Senior Vice President, Interim Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of Dollarama Inc. from September 2009 to April 12, 2010. He served as an Interim Chief Financial Officer of Dollarama Group GP Inc. from November 2004 to August 2005. He held several senior corporate and division management positions at Oak Industries Inc. where he headed the WDM business unit of Lasertron. Mr. Nomicos served as a Manager at Bain & Company. He has been a Non-Executive Director of BRP Inc. since December 2016. He served as a Non-Executive Director of BRP Inc. since 2004 until September 9, 2015. He served as a Director of Dollarama Group Inc. and Dollarama Group GP Inc. He has been a Director at Dollarama Group Holdings Limited Partnership since 2004.
