Biography

  Dr. Case’s education includes Biochemistry, Exercise Physiology, and Chiropractic, Active Release Techniques® (ART), Graston® Therapy and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). After completing a Bachelor of Science at UBC, Dr. Case spent 4 years at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto, graduating with Cum Laude and Clinic Honours. He then returned in 2005 to the Kitsilano, Point Grey area of Vancouver to start his practice. Dr. Case’s background also includes 20 years of running (5x 2:40s full marathoner) and other sports. Since his formal education, Dr. Case has 10+ years of full-time Practice Experience including treatment of:   Overuse and Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSIs) from Sitting, Computers, Work or Sport Professional and Olympic Runners, Triathletes, and Endurance Athletes Numerous other Competitive and Recreational Athletic Injuries Professional Actors, Directors and Musicians Accreditations/Affiliations Member of the College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences Member of the Canadian Chiropractic Association Member of the of British Columbia College of Chiropractors Dr. Case is a fully certified Active Release Techniques (ART®) Provider in all of the following ART® disciplines:   Lower Extremity (Hips to Toes) Upper Extremity (Shoulders to Fingers) Spine (Back, Neck and Torso) Ironman® Provider Masters ART® level Biomechanics ART® (Running) Nerve Entrapment: For tingling, numbness, weakness and Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSIs) such as Carpal Tunnel symptoms, Thoracic Outlet, Sciatica and other nerve   entrapments/compressions Complex Protocols (more complicated muscle, soft tissue, joint injuries)
