George Thomas

Biography

 George is a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer and Senior Principal with over 25 years of experience. He joined DST in 1995 and has been on the Board of Directors from 2002 to 2006 and 2007 to present, he is also the Director of Infrastructure Client Group overseeing the management of provincial transportation and municipal public works projects and contracts. He has extensive experience with a range of environmental projects including remedial action work plans, and remediation cost estimates, planning and scheduling, contract administration, construction project management and senior quality assurance, technical reviews of geotechnical and environmental engineering reports. Throughout his career George has been involved with a number of environmental and geotechnical studies related to infrastructure and foundations, radiological contamination, and he has completed over 1,000 Environmental Site Assessments and subsurface investigations across Canada and the United States.
