Biography
Mino Mattia, our Machine Shop Manager, not only has experience in the machining industry but a passion for it as well. Mino has been with the company for over thirty four years, and is now responsible for all machining done on our shop floor. He was part of the C-17 Project for two years, a military project in Long Beach, California where he gained a wealth of knowledge in the aircraft tooling industry. Mino was also a part of the technological transfer in 1987 with TRIUMF (TRI-University Meson Facility, Canada’s National Laboratory for Particle and Nuclear Physics) which initiated the creation of Advanced Cyclotron Systems Inc. (ACSI), and thus has a strong understanding of components for cyclotrons & the nuclear medicine industry. He received his degree in generic engineering from the Italian University ‘Federico II’, as well as a Degree in Music from the ‘Conservatorio in Napoli’.
