Biography
Umendra has an exceptional skill set through his years of experience in senior executive and management roles. With over forty years in Federal, Provincial, and Local Governments, as well as private sector work, Umendra brings strong leadership qualities to the table. In the past, Umendra has served as City Manager for the City of Surrey, as well as its General Manager for Engineering. His previous experience includes Deputy Minister of the Department of Natural Resources for the Province of Manitoba. He has served in numerous Engineering Management Roles as well. Umendra currently sits as a Director on multiple boards for different Canadian corporations. Umendra holds a Masters of Applied Sciences in Mechanical Engineering and is a registered Professional Engineer.
