Jocelyn Flanagan

Biography

Between ensuring all cupboard doors are securely closed, fixing grammatical gaffes and lining up the logo with the lid before sipping her Starbucks, Jocelyn’s relentless eye for detail is the worst-kept secret in our office. Luckily for clients, it’s also what enables her to lead our team in meeting the highest standards of excellence. As the principal owner of e=mc² events, Jocelyn is actively involved in every aspect of the company from business development and event design to stage production. With innovative vision and a “can do” attitude, Jocelyn loves strategizing with clients about how to achieve their objectives and then bringing it to life in new and unique ways. Jocelyn is highly involved in the event industry worldwide. She was the co-founder and past Chair of the International Live Events Association (ILEA) – Canada Affiliate and was a founding member of the Calgary chapter. Jocelyn is an active guest speaker at universities and conferences and relishes the opportunity to promote the industry in front of any crowd that will listen. When she is not playing squash, skiing, biking, running, golfing or anything that involves a car full of sports gear, she likes to spend her spare time volunteering at various organizations. She is currently is on the Advisory Committee for MusiCounts.
