Katy Bond

Biography

Ask anyone around town and you will hear that Katy is the Dot Connector, Social Convener and overall Fun Maker! She has also joined our team as an Event Manager. Katy can be described as an urban hippy, she marches to the beat of her own drum (no word yet if she actually plays drums, stay tuned). Katy loves the chaotic energy and organized chaos during the events and enjoys bringing to life an idea. Katy came to us from owning her own company, Bond PR which specialized in Public Relations and Events. Through her previous experience she has worked on multiple dynamic projects in the lifestyle, hospitality, corporate, and non-profit sectors in Calgary and across Canada. In addition she spent several years as the Calgary Editor for Notable.ca. Katy has yet to meet a thrift store she didn’t like, thinks Dad jokes are super duper awesome, and is a notorious long distance runner – mostly to combat her love of food (it’s not unusual to see her about town, checking out the latest and greatest in the city’s culinary landscape). Also, if you plan to go out and about with Katy be prepared to network, she encounters people she knows everywhere she goes!
