Biography
Ben Reeves’ drawing and painting practice is an intensive, personal accounting of perception and how the world is realized through pictures. He has exhibited his work extensively in national venues as well as in the US, England and China. His work has been featured and reviewed in Canadian Art, Border Crossings, The National Post, and The Globe and Mail. Reeves received a BFA from the University of British Columbia and an MA from Chelsea College of art and Design, UK. He is represented by the Equinox Gallery in Vancouver and Jessica Bradley Art Gallery in Toronto. Reeves is currently Associate Professor in the Audain Faculty of Art and in the Jake Kerr Faculty of Graduate Studies at Emily Carr University.
