Biography
Cameron joined the Emily Carr faculty in 2016 after working as a designer and educator in the United States. He holds a BFA in Visual Communications from Cornish College of the Arts and an MFA in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design. He benefits from sixteen-plus years of professional experience working for various design agencies, an in-house designer, and a sole proprietor. In addition, Cameron has five-plus years of college teaching experience. Cameron’s work ranges from publication design and public service campaigns to information visualization and interactive media. He has a deep fascination with the intersection of aesthetics, science, ethics and rhetoric and has focused his work in the arts, health and education sectors. He is passionate about typography, information graphics, drawing and illustration. In addition, he is an avid reader, gardener and cook who is dedicated to service and beauty in everyday life.
