Biography
Kathleen Oliver moved to Vancouver in 1991, where she has since worked as a playwright, critic, teacher and arts administrator. Her plays include Swollen Tongues, which won the 1997 National Playwriting Competition and has been produced in Vancouver, Toronto, and London; Carol's Christmas, which premiered at the Arts Club Theatre in 2002; and The Family Way, which Touchstone Theatre and the Vancouver East Cultural Centre premiered in May 2003. She has worked for at least a dozen Vancouver arts organizations and is a regular contributor to The Georgia Straight.
