Biography

Mr. Al Monaco has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Enbridge Inc. since October 1, 2012 and February 2012 respectively. Mr. Monaco served as an Executive Vice President of Green Energy at Enbridge Pipelines Inc. since October 2010. He served as the President of Gas Pipelines, Green Energy & International at Enbridge Inc. from October 2010 to February 27, 2012. He served as an Executive Vice President of Major Projects & Green Energy at Enbridge Inc. He served as an Executive Vice President of Major Projects at Enbridge Inc., Enbridge Management, Enbridge Pipelines Inc. and Enbridge Energy Company Inc., since March 2008. He served as a Senior Vice President of Planning & Development at Enbridge Pipelines Inc. Mr. Monaco led the newly created Major Projects Business Unit, responsible for project execution. He served as the President of Enbridge Gas Distribution Inc., a wholly owned division of Enbridge Inc. from September 21, 2006 to January 9, 2008. He was responsible for the leadership of Enbridge Gas Distribution, which has 1.8 million residential, commercial and industrial customers in Ontario and was additionally responsible for Quebec-based Gazifère, St. Lawrence Gas in New York State and Enbridge Gas New Brunswick. He served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Planning & Development at Enbridge Inc., since June 2003 and served as its Vice President of Financial Services since February 2002. He served as the Chairman of Enbridge Pipelines Inc. from October 2012 to August 2, 2015. Mr. Monaco served as a Director of Financial Services at Enbridge Inc. since 2000 and served as its Director of Investor Relations from 1997 to 2000. He served as the Treasurer of Enbridge Energy Company Inc. and Enbridge Energy Partners L.P., since February 2002. He served as Treasurer of Enbridge Energy Management LLC since May 14, 2002. He has been a Director of Enbridge Inc. since February 27, 2012; DCP Midstream, LLC since February 27, 2017; Enbridge Pipellines Inc. since October 16, 2012; Enbridge Pipelines Inc. since 2015 and Enbridge Gas Distribution Inc. since 2012. He served as Director of Enbridge Energy Management LLC until October 2012 and Enbridge Energy Company Inc. since October 2010. He served as a Director of Alliance Pipeline Ltd., a General Partner of Alliance Pipeline Limited Partnership from November 11, 2010 to April 1, 2012. He served as a Director of Enbridge Gas Distribution Inc., from September 1, 92006 to January 2008. He holds a Certified Management Accountant designation and is a Member of Society of Management Accountants of Alberta. Mr. monaco holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from University of Calgary's Haskayne School of Business.
