Michael Burke

Biography

Mr. Burke has more than 30 years of public and private experience working in corporate finance and banking. He joined EGS in 2015. Prior to joining EGS, he was the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Landauer, Inc. During his time with Landauer, Mr. Burke led various initiatives to support the company’s strategic growth and transformation of its global finance, corporate development and investor relations. Mr. Burke is currently on the board of a NASDAQ listed environmental services company, serving on its audit and nomination & governance committees and previously served as Vice Chair of the Albany Medical Center. Previously, Mr. Burke held public company senior leadership roles as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Albany International Corp. and as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Intermagnetics General Corporation, a medical device company, as a senior leadership team member to design and execute a business transformation and growth strategy that ultimately led to it being acquired for $1.3 billion. Mr. Burke was also Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of HbT, Inc., having led the company’s successful raise of over $20 million in private institutional capital in advance of a planned $120 million IPO. Prior to joining HbT, Mr. Burke was a Managing Director within the U.S. Investment Banking Department of CIBC Oppenheimer Corp., and a Director for the Global Investment Banking Division of Barclays de Zoete Wedd. Mr. Burke graduated from Lake Forest College with a bachelor’s degree in Economics. He also completed graduate studies at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania as part of Barclays’ management development program.
