Biography
As a Senior Research Associate with the R & D team at Environics Analytics, Dhanya Shrowthi-Dewan is responsible for analyzing large amounts of data by designing and testing various behavioural and predictive statistical models. In that role, she helps uncover patterns, trends and relationships in demographic, geographic and economic market analysis. Her previous work experience includes serving as a market research analyst at Tangerine bank and a senior research analyst at the Toronto Transit Commission. Dhanya holds a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics from Brock University and a masters in mathematical sciences from Wilfrid Laurier University with a focus on applied statistical modelling for the social sciences.
