Biography
As EA’s Vice President of Modelling and Data Services, Michael Vainder, Ph.D., guides a team of statisticians and data mining specialists who create analytical models and provide data services to clients in the corporate, not-for-profit and government sectors. During his previous tenure at Generation5, he led the development of all database and segmentation products to meet the market research needs of customers in the financial, automotive, retail and media industries. In addition, Michael served as a statistical analyst at Tel-Aviv University and a software developer and statistician at the Academy of Sciences in Moldova. His areas of expertise include predictive modelling, campaign management and univariate and multivariate statistical analysis. The recipient of a doctorate degree in computer science from Tomsk Polytechnic University (Russia) and a master’s degree in applied mathematics from Tomsk State University, he has published more than thirty papers in research journals and conference proceedings.
