Biography
Gary Wood, the Senior Vice President for Software Strategy at Environics Analytics, is responsible for the technical direction of EA's software development and its role in the marketing platform ecosystem. Gary is an accomplished software designer and developer with over 25 years of experience in geodemography, market analytics and statistical analysis. Combining this background with an interest in graphic arts, design and data visualization, Gary strives to make complex applications accessible, understandable and useful to end users. Previously, he led the team that developed ENVISION5, EA’s online business intelligence tool. Gary has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in psychology from the University of Western Ontario, where he specialized in the development and validation of statistical measures of behaviour.
