Biography

As​ Vice President, Innovation Hub and Senior Consultant, Jim Anderson leads the data management services practice at Environics Analytics. Jim has over 20 years of experience advising and implementing data-driven solutions for clients, delivering on-premise solutions and fully hosted/managed services. Leveraging data technologies, architecture and methodologies for EA clients across various industries, he bridges the gap between technical and business stakeholders by articulating the concepts and benefits of these technologies and methods to non-technical executives. Jim also plays a lead role in managing matters involving data governance, security and privacy while also driving research and development in emerging technologies and innovation. With his extensive experience in practical data management implementations, Jim has lectured at George Brown College and the University of Toronto and holds the Certified Business Intelligence Professional designation from The Data Warehousing Institute.
