Biography
A Senior Research Associate with EA’s Data Development team, Karin Martin is responsible for building models and algorithms to estimate and verify data, and for streamlining the production of financial products. Using analytics tools, she solves optimization problems, analyzes large datasets and performs imputation work. Previously, Karin applied her background in mathematics and programming in positions with MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates and McMaster University. She also served as an intern at EA before joining full-time. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering with first-class honours from Queen’s University, where she was awarded the top prize for her fourth-year mathematics and engineering thesis project.
