Biography
As Vice President of Marketing, Michael Weiss is responsible for increasing awareness of Environics Analytics through media and marketing initiatives. An internationally known expert in geodemographics, he directed the naming and imaging of the PRIZM5, PRIZM C2 and PRIZM CE segmentation systems, and he has produced numerous articles and other marketing collateral advancing the benefits of EA’s products and services. He also helped create a number of American consumer segmentation systems as a U.S.-based marketing consultant, and he has authored two books on the subject—The Clustering of America and Latitudes & Attitudes—as well as a third book, The Clustered World, exploring international segmentation systems. Michael received a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University and is the recipient of several journalism awards, including ​a Knight-Bagehot Fellowship in Economics and Business Journalism.
