Biography
In his role as Director of Data Services at Environics Analytics, Dr. Shaw Tao assists clients by providing such services as targeted sampling, data manipulation, cleansing, merging and purging, segmentation, data mining and advanced analytics. Before joining EA, Shaw served as a Chief Analyst and Statistician at SM Research Inc. for over 18 years. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering and a Master of Science degree in enterprise management information systems (EMIS) from Wuhan University of Technology, China. Shaw also earned a Ph.D. in retail location planning from the University of Glamorgan, UK.
