Biography
Member of the American Geophysical Union Supervision of graduate students at the Centre pour l'étude et la simulation du climat à l'échelle régionale (Centre ESCER), Université du Québec à Montréal. Guest lectures for graduate courses (on terrestrial biosphere and its interactions with the climate system) at the School of Earth and Ocean Sciences, University of Victoria. Contributing author of Chapter 7 (Couplings between the changes in climate system and biogeochemistry) of the fourth assessment report of the IPCC. Contributing author of Chapter 6 (Carbon and other biogeochemical cycles) of the fifth assessment report of the IPCC. Lead author of Chapter 8 (Modeling the climate response to methane) in Arctic Monitoring and Assessment Programme's (AMAP) report titled AMAP Assessment 2015: Methane as an Arctic climate forcer.
Research Interest
Development, application and implementation of 1) terrestrial ecosystem models and 2) surface hydrological models within the framework of earth system models
