Jad Shimaly

Biography

Jad was appointed Managing Partner, Advisory, in 2015, and is a member of our Executive Committee. Jad leads a team of Partners and executives across the country focused on delivering business outcomes and value to our clients. Prior to this role, Jad led the Performance Improvement practice in Canada since 2011, and served as the Global client service partner and Advisory account leader on some of our firm's largest clients. Jad has more than twenty years of business experience both in industry and consulting. He joined EY in Cleveland in 2000, and transferred to the Toronto office in 2001 where he played a key role in building and growing our Canadian Advisory practice. He was admitted to the partnership in 2007. Before joining EY, he held numerous positions in the finance and supply chain functions of a US Fortune 250 consumer products company. Jad has extensively advised clients across sectors on a range of strategic process improvement/transformation and IT-enabled business change initiatives, driving business value across the organizations

Research Interest

Jad has a MBA from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from Notre Dame University.
