Biography
Dr. Erin Condran grew up in Manotick and graduated from Canterbury High School. She completed her undergraduate degree at Queen’s University, graduating in 2011 with a BScH in Life Sciences. Dr. Condran graduated from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science in 2015. During her studies, Dr. Condran was awarded the Abbott Medical Optics Prize, the Barbara Sivak Memorial Award, the Ottawa Society of Optometrists Scholarship and the William Feinbloom Low Vision Award. During her clinical rotations, she completed an internship at the Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Here she gained experience in the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases. She also gained experience in low vision, contact lenses, and pediatric care at the University of Waterloo. Dr. Condran has travelled with Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH) to provide eye care and glasses to those in need in Romania. Dr. Condran joined eyeDOCS in 2015. She is very excited to be returning to her hometown of Ottawa after being away for school. She looks forward to meeting new patients and helping the Ottawa community with their eye care needs. In her spare time, Dr. Condran enjoys cycling, running and reading. She loves travelling, and staying in town exploring Ottawa.
