Biography
Bamidele Ojo is a professor of political science and international affairs. Dr Ojo joined the faculty in the fall of 1992. His research and teaching focus on African politics, terrorism and political violence, geography and world issues, human rights, international law and globalization at the University College, Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey. He received his BSc in Political Science, MSc in International Relations and Diploma in French from the University of Ife(Now Obafemi Awolowo University), Nigeria. As a French Government Scholar, received an Mphil(DEA) in African Studies and PhD in Political Science, from the University of Bordeaux I in France. He also received an LLM in International Law with specialization in Human Rights from the University of Nottingham, England and a DIHL in International Humanitarian Law, among other degrees. Dr. Ojo was a Fulbright Senior Research and Teaching Scholar in 2001/2002 at the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He was also on Fulbright Senior Specialist Roster 2005-2010. He served on the University Academic Senate Faculty Rights and Welfare Committee for many years.
