Biography
Charles “Jeff” Quixley's educational background includes a Doctorate of Jurisprudence (“JD”), a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, (“BA”), and a Master of Science with a specialization in Criminal Justice (“MS”). He is also a former two-term City Councilman for the Borough of Bradley Beach, NJ, where his responsibilities included Co-Chair of the Bradley Beach Police Department and Public Safety. His experience also includes teaching criminal justice, legal studies and political science at several institutions of higher learning for several years. Prior to his teaching endeavors, his corporate legal experience included managing a staff of claims representatives handling Public Officials and Employment Practices Liability, Police Professional Liability, and Criminal Justice System Operations Liability for a major insurance carrier. Litigation involved civil rights violations, employment practices, and other professional liability-related claims. Further, during the 1990’ s as Director and Managing Attorney for another major insurance company, his responsibilities included asset protection and security measures to protect the Company from tangible or intangible losses with respect to intellectual property and safeguarding corporate history data. Currently, he is a member of ASIS International and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
