Biography
Professor Cook has been with Fairleigh Dickinson University since 2000 and helped the CJ program launch into cyber space with their first on-line classes. Since 1986, Professor Cook has been a police officer with the Fair Lawn Police Department, spending time in patrol, community policing, and Strategic Planning. Currently assigned as a Captain in the capacity of Operations Division Commander with the Fair Lawn Police Department. Professor Cook earned a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice Administration with a minor in Public Administration from William Paterson University. He then went on to receive a Masters degree in Education from Seton Hall University. Additionally, Professor Cook is a graduate of Northwestern University's School of Police Staff and Command, West Point's Command and Leadership School, and the New Jersey Certified Public Manager program.
