Biography
Mark Farag received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Texas A&M University. He has published in the following areas: near-ring theory, automata theory, and undergraduate research projects. He co-leads the grant-funded Mathematics Enrichment Through Applications (META) high school outreach program, runs professional development workshops for in-service Mathematics teachers, serves as an Honors thesis adviser, and has taught the following courses at FDU: College Algebra, Calculus I-II, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, Topology, Abstract Algebra, Discrete Structures, Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science, and Special Topics in Mathematics Education.
