Biography
Patrick Reynolds is currently the Assistant Director of the School of Criminal Justice. Professor Reynolds retired after thirty years of service with the Maywood, New Jersey Police Department. His tenure in the police department included service in all ranks, including 15 years in the department’s Detective Bureau. For the last seven years of his police career, Professor Reynolds served as Chief of Police. In 1999, Professor Reynolds started teaching at FDU as an adjunct professor for the School of Criminal Justice. He also has served as an adjunct professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City.
Research Interest
Professor Reynolds is a graduate of William Paterson University and possesses a graduate degree in Public Administration from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Additionally, Professor Reynolds is a graduate of the FBI’s National Academy in Quantico Virginia, the West Point Leadership and Command School, and is a Certified Public Manager.
