Biography
Dr. Kapur is an Assistant Professor in the School of Criminal Justice, Political Science and International Affairs. Prior to coming to Fairleigh Dickinson University, she was a Senior Research Associate work on juvenile justice issues at the Vera Institute of Justice in New York City. Prior to that Dr. Kapur taught as an adjunct instructor at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She has also worked as a litigation consultant conducting mock jury research. Dr. Kapur has a Ph.D. in Experimental Forensic Psychology from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, Graduate Center, City University of New York. She is the recipient of the American Psychology Law Society Dissertation Award in 2009.
Research Interest
Her expertise is in the area of jury decision making, research on pre-trial public, and death penalty decision making.
