Biography
Doug Potentier of Victoria, B.C., was first elected to the FCL Board of Directors in 2008, and in 2015, he was elected Vice-Chair of the Board. He represents the 13 retail co-operatives in FCL’s district 4, which covers Vancouver Island, and the northwest, southwest and interior of British Columbia. Doug has been a certified Canadian Management Professional (CMP) since 1998. He also received his ICD.D designation after successfully completing the Institute of Corporate Directors training in September 2008 – Directors Education Program (DEP) for Directors of Large Companies/Organizations – offered by Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
