Biography
Dr. Chantel Brust (DVM) left her roots at the University of Alberta to surf and study as an adopted Australian at the University of Wollongong, New South Wales. Graduating with distinction from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Canada, she developed a special interest in emergency and zoo animal medicine. She pursued these interests completing external rotations at Canada West Veterinary Specialists in Vancouver, Guardian Veterinary Centre in Edmonton, and at the Edmonton Zoo. She has primarily spent her career focusing on critical care and internal medicine, and has additional training in ultrasound. Outside of the clinic, if she's not traveling, Dr. Chantel can be found sparring in the boxing ring or in the mountains with her fur child, Emerson.
