Biography
Dr. Kate Yates (B.Sc, DVM) joined the Fish Creek team in May of 2014 upon receipt of her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Ontario Veterinary College. She was raised in Thornhill, Ontario and completed a Bachelors with honours in Biomedical Science from the University of Guelph in 2009. Kate has a keen interest in emergency critical care medicine and had spent several summers while attending veterinary college at Fish Creek Pet Hospital under the mentorship of our great team of veterinarians and support staff. She has also enjoyed volunteering for the Alberta Spay Neuter Task Force. In her spare time, she is known to be an avid baker, skier and hockey player.
