Biography
Emma is staff writer at AgFunderNews with more than eight years experience covering food and finance in the United States and the Middle East. She began her career covering regional banking and finance in Beirut, Lebanon where she became fascinated with the complex and vulnerable food systems of small developing nations. She moved to New York City to study the American food system and spent five years in various roles within the grocery industry while writing freelance about food and technology. Emma is also co-founder of New York-based nonprofit Well-Fed, which empowers youth serving organizations to serve better food and support local agriculture.
