Biography
Dr. Antonio Milici, also known as Tony, MD, Ph.D founded GeneThera Inc. (formerly, Hand Brand Distribution Inc.) in 1998. Dr. Milici has been the Chief Scientific Officer of GeneThera Inc. since October 1998 and has been its Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President since 1998. He has been an Interim President of Applied Genetics, S.A. de C.V. since January 2012. Dr. Milici served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Genetrans, Inc., a molecular diagnostic company located in Atlanta, Georgia from 1995 to August 1998. He has published over 30 articles and abstracts. He was a post-doctoral fellow at both The University of Texas and Stanford University. Dr. Milici received his M.D. degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Rome, Italy in 1979. He received his Ph.D. degree in Experimental Hematology from the University of Rome, Italy in 1983. After graduating from medical school, he moved to Stanford University where he worked on his Ph.D. degree research.
