Jeff P. Fegan

Biography

Jeffrey P. Fegan, also known as Jeff, served as the Chief Executive Officer of Dallas Fort Worth Texas International Airport since February 1994 until 2013. Mr. Fegan served as the Chief Administrator of DFW Airport Board. Mr. Fegan served as a Deputy Executive Director of Finance and Administration of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, from July 1993 to November 1993, where he was responsible for Finance, Property Management, Procurement and Budget. He served as Director of Planning and Engineering of Dallas Fort Worth Texas International Airport since March 1989. He was responsible for the development of Dallas Fort Worth Texas International Airport's Master Plan, administration of a planning program to promote growth and development of the Airport, development of the Capital Improvement Program, development of the Airport Noise Compatibility Program and implementation of ground transportation improvements to enhance safety and capacity. Mr. Fegan joined Dallas Fort Worth Texas International Airport in December 1984 as the Chief Planner and later served as its Assistant Director. As the Noise Abatement Officer at Westchester County Airport in New York from 1983 to 1984, Mr. Fegan was responsible for the development, implementation and management of Noise Abatement Programs for the airport. He served in the aviation consulting business from 1978 to 1983, where Mr. Fegan served as Project Manager on airport master plans for air carrier and general aviation airports and was involved in all phases of Airport Noise Control Plans. Representing Dallas Fort Worth Texas International Airport, he served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Airports Council International - North America (ACI-NA). He has been a Director of Greater Toronto Airports Authority since 2014. He is a Member of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), and the American Institute of Certified Planners. He is an Accredited Airport Executive. Mr. Fegan received a Master of City Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Frostburg University, Maryland and also completed the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford University.
