Kathy Milsom

Biography

Kathy Milsom served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Technical Standards and Safety Authority and the Canada Lands Company. Ms. Milsom served as President of Vestar Facility Management and Director of Vertical Markets and Regional Director of Healthcare Support Services for Johnson Controls World Services, Inc. She has been a Director of Greater Toronto Airports Authority since 2013. She served as a Director of Thermal Energy International Inc. since November 28, 2016 until August 31, 2017. Ms. Milsom serves as the Chair of the Standards Council of Canada. She serves as Chair of the Advisory Board for the Direct Construction Company Limited. She served as Chair of the Standards Council of Canada and served as its Director. She served on as variety of other boards, including those of the Canadian National Exhibition, the advisory board for the Civil and Mineral Engineering Department of the University of Toronto, the Riverdale Hospital (now Bridgepoint Health), and The Rehab Choice. In 2004, she was honored to receive the Ontario Professional Engineers’ engineering medal for management. She was Senior Fellow of the Canada School of Public Service for their Crown corporation director orientation program. She is a Professional Engineer and a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors’ Director Education Program.
