Biography
Dr. Gerald Johnson is the Director of Science and will be integrally involved in all aspects of fish stock establishment and maintenance including development and implementation standard procedures, process optimization, disease prevention strategies, biosecurity measures and design and coordination new research and development projects and trials. Dr. Johnson is a Veterinary Pathologist and a retired Professor at AVC-UPEI (Atlantic Veterinary College-University of Prince Edward Island). He has three decades of experience specializing in farmed fish health and production problem solving. His first exposure to marine flatfish was with turbot in Scotland in 1978.
