Biography

Mr. Leslie J. Rechan, also known as Les, has been Chief Executive Officer and President of Solace Systems, Inc. since September 8, 2017. Mr. Rechan has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Halogen Software Inc. since November 5, 2015. Mr. Rechan served as Interim Chief Executive Officer and President of Halogen Software Inc from July 2015 to November 5, 2015. He served as Chief Operating Officer of Cognos Espana, a subsidiary of Cognos Inc. He has more than 30 years of information technology solutions experience from two industry-leading organizations, IBM and Onyx Software. He served as the Chief Operating Officer of Cognos ULC (formerly Cognos Inc.) from May 15, 2006 to 2008. Prior to joining Cognos, Mr. Rechan served as Senior Vice President and Global General Manager, CRM Strategy at Oracle Corporation from March 2006 to May 2006, when Oracle Corporation acquired Siebel Systems Inc. He served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Americas Sales of Seibel Systems, Inc. (formerly Siebel Systems Inc.) and served in the same capacity for Global Manufacturing and Distribution Industries business unit of Seibel Systems, Inc. from August 2004 to February 2006. He served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of North American Worldwide Field Operations of Cadence Design Systems Inc. from May 5, 2003 to July 2004. Mr. Rechan has business, operational and leadership experience in software companies. He served as General Manager of IBM Business Analytics Division from 2011 to 2014 and as Vice President of Sales, Solutions and Services at IBM Business Analytics Division from 2008 to 2011. At IBM, Mr. Rechan held leadership positions across field sales, systems engineering, services, solutions, development and general management in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. He served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Onyx Software Corp. from January 2001 to October 2002. He joined a worldwide team of Cadence regional general managers located in Europe, Asia Pacific and Japan. He throughout his career, has demonstrated strong leadership, operational excellence. He has been Independent Director of PROS Holdings, Inc. since May 21, 2015 and Director of PROS, Inc. since June 11, 2015. Mr. Rechan has been a Director of Solace Systems, Inc. since September 8, 2017. He has been a Director of Halogen Software Inc. since May 8, 2015. He serves on the board of Cognitive Scale, the Cognitive Cloud Company. Mr. Rechan served as Director of Applix Inc. since October 2007. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering and his B.A. in organizational behavior from Brown University and his M.A. in Management and Finance from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
