Biography
A geologist with over 40 years of experience throughout Africa. The founder and MD of Pangea Exploration (Pty) Limited and recipient of the Des Pretorius Memorial Award for outstanding work in economic geology in Africa and the Dreyer Award by the Society for Mining Metallurgy and Exploration Inc (USA) for outstanding achievements in applied economic geology. His discoveries include: In Tanzania: Tulawaka, Buzwagi and Golden Ridge; In South Africa: the world class high grade Rhovan vanadium deposit, the Taaiboschspruit coal mine, the 16Moz Burnstone gold deposit, Hillendale Ti-Zr deposit; In Kenya: the Kwale Ti-Zr deposit; In Mozambique: the world class Corridor Sands deposit
