Biography

Zack Frehlick is Lead Biomedical Engineer at HealthTech Connex Inc. Acted as primary technical engineer for systems and software tasks during the development of a robotic pipetting platform for automated magnetic cell separation of biological samples ●Challenges solved include: developing a scheduling algorithm to determine the fastest way to complete several cell separation protocols at once; designing and implementing a GUI for intuitively controlling execution of cell separation protocols; devising a barcode scanning system (for recording identification data of cell separation liquids) ●Began as a co-op student (May 2012 - August 2012) in the Instrumentation Department before earning a full-time position
