Biography
Stephen O'Leary was appointed Chief Risk Officer for HSBC Bank Canada in August 2015. Mr O’Leary joined HSBC in 1988, and has held a variety of roles across the bank – primarily in Asia and the UK. Previous roles include: Chief Risk Officer, HSBC India; Head of Business Analysis and Capital Management, Commercial Banking, Hong Kong; and Managing Director and Head of Strategy and Credit Portfolio Management, Corporate & Investment Banking Management, Hong Kong. Prior to that, he had several client-facing roles in the UK, Indonesia and the US.
