Biography
Robert Assabgui was appointed Vice President, Technical Services in May 2017. In this role, Rob's primary accountability is to provide Technical Services to Corporate Development, Metals Marketing and the Business Units. Rob is an accomplished Senior Operations Manager with 27 years of progressive experience in operations, project management and engineering in the mining industry. Prior to joining the company in 2017, Rob was the Director, Mining at Vale's Sudbury Operations. Rob holds a Bachelor of Engineering, Mining from McGill University and is a Professional Engineer registered with the Professional Engineers Ontario.
