Biography
Sandro Cellucci was appointed General Counsel and Vice President – Legal Affairs at Hydro-Québec in April 2017. In addition to his supervisory duties, he advises Senior Management in all aspects of the company’s business, and major legal proceedings in particular. He also serves as Vice President – Legal Affairs and Compliance at Hydro-Québec’s American subsidiaries H.Q. Energy Services (U.S.) Inc. and Hydro Renewable Energy Inc. In this capacity, he represents Hydro-Québecin its dealings with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). Mr. Cellucci joined Hydro-Québec in 2005 as the lawyer responsible for energy transactions on external markets. Previously, he worked for seven years in the Ogilvy Renault (now Norton Rose Fulbright) Corporate and Commercial Practice Group. Sandro Cellucci holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Université de Montréal and a Bachelor of Finance from HEC Montréal. He was a finalist in the Legal Services Manager of the Year category of the ZSA Québec General Counsel Awards in 2016, and again in the Litigation Management category of the 2017 Canadian General Counsel Awards.
