Biography
Mr. Caldwell is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Carleton University, Ontario. He has over 30 years experience as a chief executive officer and chief financial officer of several publicly held companies. Mr. Caldwell has obtained significant experience in analyzing and evaluating financial statements as well as exposure to accounting and financial matters as President and Chief Executive Officer of SMTC Corporation (a global provider of advanced electronic manufacturing services) since 2003, as President and Chief Executive Officer of CAE Inc. (a flight simulation and training services company) for over 6 years, as Chief Financial Officer of CAE Inc. for 4 years and 12 years in various senior financial positions at a consumer products company.
