Biography
James is a President of James Hall Advisors Inc., a financial and management advisory firm most recently served as Vice President of Callidus Capital Corporation–a specialized asset-based lender to companies in Canada and the United States. Prior to Advisors, James served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Philadelphia-based pure-play newspaper company Journal Register Company, and served as Senior Vice President & Chief Investment Officer of private equity investment fund Working Ventures Canadian Fund Inc. James is a director of Atomic Energy of Canada Limited and Trustee of an OMERS Trust. A Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA), he is a graduate of the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University in London, Ontario.
